My 24th, yellow cake and chocolate frosting! the day went like this.... Sooners lost to texas... which is no longer spoken of... Loisburg, KS to the cider mill, such a great place. Panera bread for dinner. Soccer game Seattle sounders played the KC wizards at the legends... also used for the minor league baseball team. presents! presents! presents!

Crate and Barrel. something ive recently discovered, i thought it was for old people! til i realized what katherine was talking about. its just a super cool over priced pier 1. but thats okay!

Hives. I get them watching christopher coach soccer. i think this is why i never played outdoor sports??? childrens liquid grape benadryl is awesome!

Dance. love it. dont know what i'd do without it. nevermind about removing my left foot. i'll survive.

those vacuum bag things. love them. cant hang my tutus w/ normal hangers so this does the trick. i tell everyone!

aunt, again and again. (by birth) Allison, Madison, Ashlyn, Ellie, Parker, McKenna, and Reese. thats 7.

No worries, the 7 of them are not getting me excited for the future. which is okay. im very content with my life.

that doesnt mean to be worried for me that i'll never find anyone, cough. Please dont try to find me Prince charming.

No reason to rush, the rest of my life is already in panic mode.

okay. its taken me forever to get on here. sorry!
saturday may 30th was the PBKC spring showcase. it went very well. except i fell. in the middle of dress rehersal. in a C jump. i thought i was still higher in the air. my back was arched, head back completly and my feet over my head. it was in the modern piece. christopher saw me fall. he said it didnt look pretty. i landed on the top of my left foot instead of landed on obvouisly the bottom. it started hurting instantly. but there was 2 mins left in the dance. i finished and limped off. I still had 4 more dances. i did them anyway cuz i had no feeling from my shin down, i could barely get my pointe shoes on. my whole entire foot was black. it didnt become painful until an hour after practice, but we still had the show. thanks to ice packs and advil I ended up doing just fine. I made a doctors apt and later found out i broke 4 blood vessels on the top of my foot. i still have minor pain. but when do dancers not!
My boss at the dancewear store asked if i thought this was i sign i should stop dancing. I said to him, i'll be in tears on stage dancing before i think about quitting.

now its June, and the studio i teach for is preparing for recital in 2 weeks. so far so good. I'm really enjoying teaching again. we took recitals pics last week. it was a blast. cant wait to see what the next two weeks are like. we perform at the lyric theatre downtown.

me and christopher. we are awesome. we try to spend as much time together. He loves working for converse. i blame him for killing my tulips. so he got me some other plants to put with them, but some of those i think are already dead. Dad told me to stick with my day job.

one crazy week

So this week had its ups and downs:

Sunday (4/7) dance schedule for PBKC spring show practices went from noon to 6 BUT was changed to 11AM to 6:30pm...hmmmmm. no comment.

monday: went to work. went to dance, worked on choregraphy for competition solos. Taught ballet and jazz classes.

Tuesday: my least favorite day this week.
Woke up at 8am with with 102 temperature. called in sick for work and dance. Wore 3 shirts and a hoodie, sweat pants and 2 pairs of socks. it was 70 degrees outside. didnt move all day. and nothing was on TV!

Wednesday: temperature dropped. went to work. Nancy Eppert dropped by to say hello. Went to dance worked on competition solos. had run throughs for competitions instead of classes. over all an easy day.

Thursday: woke up at 7am coughing with a 99.6 temperature. Called in sick. didnt move all day, except a trip to panera bread and buy muscinex. then my eye was irratated. had to wear glasses. eye doctors tell me over the phone "you'll be fine!" eventhough this is the third time in two months my eye have been sensitive to my new contacts which are still BY THE WAY, FEEL BLURRY WHEN I LOOK TO THE RIGHT! (sorry, im a little mad at them right now.)

Friday: fun day. went to royals game. (mom and dad i was just fine, no worries).
Tailgated w/ christopher's family. sat in the car most of the time cuz my cough. watched game took pics, coming soon, and left in the 7th inning cuz it took two whole innings to walk back to the car. I thought i saw the Bixlers but i could be wrong and i had no voice so if it was them i couldnt get there attention. and i would feel weird trying to talk to them w/ no voice. NOTE: dont get queso and chips at royals game. mine were nasty.

Saturday: the orginal plan was to go to Christopher's grandma's house for easter weekend but now christopher is sick and i wasnt willing to drive 5 1/2 hours since i wasnt feeling normal yet. I dont remember normal anyway.

Sunday: just took it easy. slept in. made roast. and relaxed.

Im starting to feel better. hope to be fine by monday!

my 23rd birthday. christopher made my favorite everything! steak, potatoes, asparagus for dinner. Dessert: yellow cake with chocolate frosting. and since he is very smart- roses.

One of my haircuts this year. i miss the super short style! have to grow it out for a bun!

MOM! you'll love this! so I thought of ways to bring more money into Premiere ballet. We sold our dirty, stinky, worn out pointe shoes and sell them at shows! We dyed them with Dylon dye (i found at JoAnn's which by the way did a very good job!) we dyed over 75 pairs (which most were mine, lol, since i thought i would never part with them-- they did come in handy!) the colors were: hot pink, purple, teal, gold, red, and lime green. it was so much fun!

the flowers christopher got me for Nutcracker. one of them is the rainbow rose; its multi colored, I told him never to buy it cuz one cost 5 dollars and that was to much for something that dies in a week. but of course he did.

Me and christopher on halloween. No, we didn't dress up, or pass out candy. We thought it would be a great night for a date. we went to xtreme bowl (unlimited bowling from 11pm to 1am) and we were one couple of three!!!!! it was dead there. SO NICE!!!

Life is crazy. Work is the busier than ever for January/February. spring show practices start soon! teaching is awesome, in the process of choreogaphy.
