Lesson Learned

Ive learned alot in the past 8 weeks......

You find out who your true friends are...

family is way more important than ANY boyfriend...

being single is the most amazing thing ever...

Leftovers from dinner the night before.... hmmm....

Dance is way more enjoyable....

Working harder than ever before seems to be easier...

Time for things I want to do still doesnt always happen...

But the best things in life are finally about to happen.....

jury duty :)

ugh, where do i begin with this one...
so I was supposed to have jury duty monday December 21, 2009.
ha, little did they know.....
1. thats nutcracker week. i dont do anything else.
2. Boss man was out of town so nobody could work days, except me.
3. Last studio dress rehersal that day.
4.did i mention i dont function the week of nutcracker?

so you can ask to push it back once, so i did!
to February 23rd.
I was kinda excited to do it, but it was cancelled.
bummer.

I guess i'll have to wait 3 more years.

so little time.

November---
practice! practice! practice!!! nutcracker just weeks away!

December---
mom and dad came back from there India mission. they are never allowed to leave me again. that was just awful. but im sure they had a blast. uh huh. hung out with them and watch me performed MY nutcracker! the girls did great! i couldnt believe how much positive feedback we got!

christmas was pretty good.

a new reality shock....new status...single.

moving on....next subject.

January---
Back to the swing of things. work and dance. degage is so busy!!

snow. ek. i dont like it. but atleast im not near my sister's house.

February--
5 valentines..... guy friends are the best.

life in a nutshell. it never really seems to change.
just glad mom and dad are back. wishing i could see everyone at once again soon...

My 24th, yellow cake and chocolate frosting! the day went like this.... Sooners lost to texas... which is no longer spoken of... Loisburg, KS to the cider mill, such a great place. Panera bread for dinner. Soccer game Seattle sounders played the KC wizards at the legends... also used for the minor league baseball team. presents! presents! presents!

our side we sat on, we actually went down stairs where the treat you like royalty! our food was like a buffet line! we were about the 8th row in the center!

Dallas in july for a soccer game.

Tulsa in September for a wedding.

Oklahoma city for relaxation.

Kansas city had perfect weather, other than some days i thought it would never stop raining.

mini golf with christopher. I'm starting to think dad let me win all these years cuz i cant beat christopher at all!

Sadlers. a new fav! indoor go cart racing, the cars go 45 mph. but i go 25 in the far left lane, to stay out of the way for the people that really know what they are doing.

movies, $10 each, its not as fun to spend 20 bucks to stare at the screen, now i know why christopher never wants to go! sorry babe.

my left foot. is my enemy. it hurts. dislocated metatarsols. please cut it off while im sleeping.

soccer games. just a warning dont use the porta potties, they are gross.

soccer. im a new fan. Real Madrid. and seattle sounders. its cuz i like their socks.

beauty brands. my new best friend. now i know why i never went in there! I spend too much money!!!

chipotle, my least favorite. i got food poisioning.

best buy, i never take my debit card in there. so many things i want!

Crate and Barrel. something ive recently discovered, i thought it was for old people! til i realized what katherine was talking about. its just a super cool over priced pier 1. but thats okay!

Hives. I get them watching christopher coach soccer. i think this is why i never played outdoor sports??? childrens liquid grape benadryl is awesome!

Dance. love it. dont know what i'd do without it. nevermind about removing my left foot. i'll survive.

those vacuum bag things. love them. cant hang my tutus w/ normal hangers so this does the trick. i tell everyone!

aunt, again and again. (by birth) Allison, Madison, Ashlyn, Ellie, Parker, McKenna, and Reese. thats 7.

No worries, the 7 of them are not getting me excited for the future. which is okay. im very content with my life.

that doesnt mean to be worried for me that i'll never find anyone, cough. Please dont try to find me Prince charming.

I already have.

No reason to rush, the rest of my life is already in panic mode.

The dancewear store i manage, 20th aniversary in november, lots of planning to do!

teaching dance is the coolest thing EVER! winter show in december. more details soon.

where has all my time gone.

okay. its taken me forever to get on here. sorry!
saturday may 30th was the PBKC spring showcase. it went very well. except i fell. in the middle of dress rehersal. in a C jump. i thought i was still higher in the air. my back was arched, head back completly and my feet over my head. it was in the modern piece. christopher saw me fall. he said it didnt look pretty. i landed on the top of my left foot instead of landed on obvouisly the bottom. it started hurting instantly. but there was 2 mins left in the dance. i finished and limped off. I still had 4 more dances. i did them anyway cuz i had no feeling from my shin down, i could barely get my pointe shoes on. my whole entire foot was black. it didnt become painful until an hour after practice, but we still had the show. thanks to ice packs and advil I ended up doing just fine. I made a doctors apt and later found out i broke 4 blood vessels on the top of my foot. i still have minor pain. but when do dancers not!
My boss at the dancewear store asked if i thought this was i sign i should stop dancing. I said to him, i'll be in tears on stage dancing before i think about quitting.

now its June, and the studio i teach for is preparing for recital in 2 weeks. so far so good. I'm really enjoying teaching again. we took recitals pics last week. it was a blast. cant wait to see what the next two weeks are like. we perform at the lyric theatre downtown.

me and christopher. we are awesome. we try to spend as much time together. He loves working for converse. i blame him for killing my tulips. so he got me some other plants to put with them, but some of those i think are already dead. Dad told me to stick with my day job.
